| GReddy Spec-R HF core intercooler is one of the best ways to safely increase horsepower in a turbocharged engine. By reducing the engine's inlet temperature, a denser air charge will enter the engine and make more horsepower at the same boost level and even more power at higher boost levels. GReddy Spec-R HG intercooler cores feature a high heat dissipating "inner fin" design for medium to high boost levels on higher horsepower engines. The larger internal surface area provides superior cooling efficiency for radiating excessive heat and minimizing heat soak without experiencing huge pressure losses. This kit is tagged with GReddy's "HG" label meaning "High Grade". High Grade kits features light weight mandrel bent hand-polished piping and polished end tanks to give your vehicle the ultimate in show quality aesthetics. A very high quality intercooler good for vehicles with 400hp and over. The cores in the Spec R-HG range have been treated with CCP to improve anti-erosion properties.
